The martingale dog collar was originally designed for sighthounds, (Whippets and GreyHounds) because their necks are larger than their heads and they can often slip out of standard buckled collars.
ALL of our webbing materials are from Recycled plastic bottles for a PREMIUM Products! ❤️

A martingale collar is made up of two loops. The larger loop is slipped onto the dog's neck and a lead is then clipped to the smaller loop on the D-Ring.
Adjust the larger loop so that it is snug going over the dogs head at the largest point ( position A ). Once the collar is located around the dogs neck ( position B ) there should be approximately 1.5" of webbing between the two sliders when pulling up on the D-Ring. When the collar is in its resting location ( position C ) it will fit comfortably loose on the dog.
Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.
